Privacy policy

Last updated 9 October 2026.

Quick Asset Finance ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose your personal information, and how you can access it, correct it or complain. We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), including the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and, where it applies, Part IIIA of the Act and the Privacy (Credit Reporting) Code 2014.

On this page:

1. Who we are

Quick Asset Finance is the trading name of E&O Financial Pty Ltd (ACN 683 588 338), a finance broker based at 5/611 Magill Road, Magill SA 5072. We provide credit assistance as Credit Representative 565812 of Connective Credit Services Pty Ltd (ABN 51 143 651 496), which holds Australian Credit Licence 389328. Our licensee may also collect and hold your personal information and handle it under its own privacy policy, available at www.connective.com.au or from us on request.

We are a broker, not a lender. We help you find and apply for finance with lenders on our panel. Lenders make their own credit decisions.

2. What personal information we collect

We only collect information that is reasonably necessary to help you with finance. Depending on how you deal with us, this can include:

  • Identity and contact details: your name, mobile number, email address, postcode or residential address and date of birth.
  • Your finance needs: the asset you want to buy (for example a caravan, car, boat, truck or equipment), its price, the loan amount, deposit or trade-in, your timeframe and the purpose of the loan.
  • Financial and employment details if you go ahead with an application: income, employment, expenses, assets, liabilities, bank statements and, for business finance, details about your business such as ABN, trading history and financial statements.
  • Identification documents, such as a driver licence or passport, when a lender needs to verify your identity. Please don't send these through our website or social media forms.
  • Credit-related information (see section 7).
  • Technical and usage information from our website and ads, such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages you visit, the ad or link that brought you to us, and cookie identifiers (see section 9).
  • Records of our contact with you, including emails, call notes and SMS messages.

We don't seek sensitive information (such as health information) unless it's relevant to your application, for example hardship circumstances, and you consent to us collecting it.

You can deal with us anonymously or under a pseudonym for general enquiries. We can't arrange finance for you without identifying you, because lenders and the law require it.

3. How we collect it

We collect personal information directly from you wherever we can, including:

  • Our website forms, such as the quick quote, application and contact forms, and our ad landing pages.
  • Facebook and Instagram lead forms. When you complete an instant form in one of our ads on Facebook or Instagram, Meta Platforms passes us the details you submit. Meta may pre-fill some fields, such as your name, email address and phone number, from your Meta profile. Please check them before you submit.
  • Phone number verification. Some of our lead forms ask you to confirm your mobile number with a one-time code sent by SMS. This confirms the number belongs to you and reduces fake or mistyped enquiries. The code is sent and checked by Meta as part of its lead form service.
  • Phone calls, emails, SMS replies and meetings with you.

We may also collect information from third parties with your consent or where the law allows, including lenders, our licensee Connective Credit Services Pty Ltd, credit reporting bodies (through a lender), identity verification and bank statement services, your accountant, employer or referrer, and publicly available sources such as the ABN Lookup and PPSR registers.

If you give us information about another person, such as a co-applicant, guarantor or director, please make sure they know you're doing so and have seen this policy.

4. How we use it

We use your personal information to:

  • respond to your enquiry and assess your finance needs, including whether a loan is "not unsuitable" for you under our responsible lending obligations;
  • contact you by phone, SMS or email about your enquiry or application;
  • compare options and prepare, submit and manage finance applications with lenders, with your consent;
  • pass your details to our licensee Connective Credit Services Pty Ltd, which oversees our credit activities, and to the lenders and service providers involved in your application;
  • verify your identity and meet our legal obligations, including under the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (Cth) and anti-money laundering laws;
  • keep records, handle complaints and run our business, including managing our ads and measuring how well they work; and
  • send you information about our services, if you haven't opted out (see section 10).

If you don't give us the information we ask for, we may not be able to help you or to arrange finance.

5. Phone, SMS and email contact

When you submit an enquiry, we send you an automatic SMS to confirm we've received it, and one of our finance specialists will then contact you by phone, SMS or email. Our SMS messages are sent through ClickSend, an SMS service provider, which processes your name and mobile number to deliver the message.

We use automation tools to process enquiries quickly. For example, Zapier passes new Facebook and Instagram lead form enquiries to our lead records. Your enquiry is saved in our Google Workspace systems (Google Sheets and Gmail) and emailed to our team as a summary. These tools only handle your information to provide their service to us.

6. Who we share it with

We disclose personal information only for the purposes in this policy, with your consent, or where the law requires or allows it. Recipients can include:

  • Lenders and credit providers on our panel, and their agents, so they can assess your application;
  • our licensee, Connective Credit Services Pty Ltd, and any aggregator or software platform it uses to lodge and track applications;
  • identity verification, bank statement and valuation providers;
  • insurers or warranty providers, but only if you ask us to arrange or refer you for those products;
  • our service providers, including Google (email and data storage), Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram lead forms and advertising), Zapier (automation), ClickSend (SMS), Netlify (website hosting) and our IT and marketing contractors;
  • your representatives, such as your accountant, lawyer, financial counsellor or a co-applicant or guarantor, where you authorise it;
  • external dispute resolution schemes, regulators, courts and government agencies where the law requires it.

We don't sell your personal information.

7. Credit information and credit reporting

We are a finance broker. We are not a credit provider and we don't obtain credit reports ourselves. When you apply for finance, the lender you apply to may, with your consent, obtain your credit report from a credit reporting body (such as Equifax, illion or Experian) and may disclose information about your application and repayments to those bodies. Each lender handles this under its own privacy policy and credit reporting policy, which it will give you when you apply.

We may collect credit-related information from you, or from a lender with your consent, such as details of your existing loans, repayment history, defaults and credit enquiries, so we can help you choose suitable finance. We handle it under the Privacy Act and the Privacy (Credit Reporting) Code 2014. You can get a free copy of your credit report from each credit reporting body once every three months, or after you've been refused credit.

8. Overseas disclosure

We're based in Australia, but some of our service providers store or process data overseas. Google, Meta, Zapier and Netlify may hold information on servers in the United States and other countries where they or their sub-processors operate. ClickSend may also process data outside Australia. Some lenders and their providers may use overseas service providers too. We take reasonable steps to make sure overseas recipients handle your information in line with the APPs, for example by using reputable providers with appropriate security and contractual privacy commitments.

9. Cookies, analytics and the Meta Pixel

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, understand how visitors use it and measure our ads. These may include:

  • Meta Pixel: lets Meta and us measure whether visitors from our Facebook and Instagram ads go on to make an enquiry, and lets us show relevant ads to people who've visited our site. Meta may link this information to your Meta account under Meta's Privacy Policy.
  • Google Analytics and Google Ads tags: help us see which pages are used and which ads lead to enquiries. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
  • Campaign details in the link you clicked, such as UTM tags and ad click identifiers, which we save with your enquiry so we know which ad it came from.

We don't use these tools to collect your financial details. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and control ad personalisation in your Facebook and Instagram ad preferences and your Google My Ad Center. Some parts of the site may not work properly if you block all cookies.

10. Direct marketing and opting out

We may send you information about our finance services, for example when your loan is due for review, if you've agreed to this or would reasonably expect it. Every marketing message tells you how to opt out. You can opt out at any time and it won't affect your enquiry or application:

  • SMS: reply STOP to any of our text messages;
  • Email: use the unsubscribe link, or email us at lending@quickassetfinance.com;
  • Phone: ask us during a call.

We follow the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) and the Do Not Call Register Act 2006 (Cth). We'll still send you messages about an enquiry or application you've made with us.

11. Storage and security

We store personal information electronically in secure cloud systems, mainly Google Workspace, and in our lender and licensee platforms. We take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure, including access controls, two-step sign-in, encrypted connections and staff confidentiality. We keep information for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy and as required by law (credit and anti-money laundering laws generally require records for at least 7 years). After that, we securely destroy or de-identify it.

If we have a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm, we'll notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

12. Access and correction

You can ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it's inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading. Contact us using the details below. We'll respond within a reasonable time, usually 30 days. We don't charge for a request, but we may charge a reasonable fee to cover the cost of providing access to a large amount of information, and we'll tell you first. If we refuse a request, we'll explain why in writing and tell you how to complain. For credit information, we'll also follow the timeframes and process in Part IIIA of the Privacy Act and the Credit Reporting Code.

13. Complaints

If you have a concern about how we've handled your personal information, please tell us first so we can put it right:

  • Email lending@quickassetfinance.com with "Privacy complaint" in the subject line; or
  • write to the Privacy Officer, Quick Asset Finance, 5/611 Magill Road, Magill SA 5072.

We'll acknowledge your complaint promptly, investigate it and give you a written response within 30 days. If we need longer, we'll let you know why.

If we can't resolve your complaint, you can make a complaint in writing to our licensee, Connective Credit Services Pty Ltd (Attention: Compliance and Complaints Handling Officer):

If your complaint is still unresolved, or you haven't had a response within 30 days, you can contact:

  • Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA): phone 1800 931 678, website www.afca.org.au, email info@afca.org.au, mail GPO Box 3, Melbourne VIC 3001. AFCA provides fair and independent financial services complaint resolution that is free to consumers.
  • Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC): phone 1300 363 992, website www.oaic.gov.au.
